Instructions for Use 1. Make a copy of the file to work with, leaving the original unchanged. 2. Open the copy of the file and go to the grade-specific template you wish to customize. 3. If you’ll need multiple copies of the slide for multiple lessons, duplicate the slide as many times as needed. 4. To change the text on a slide: Click the text to reveal its text box, then select the text and type over it. Lesson number: Replace the number as needed. You can also replace the word “Lesson” with something else, such as “Day,” “Week,” or “Unit.” Selection titles: Add the titles of the reading selection(s) for the lesson. Include the genre information in the spaces provided. Domain & Lesson Topic and Essential Question: Add this information in the spaces provided. Skill blocks: Add the name of the specific skill(s).
