EOS Status on 25/05/2009 AEO Phase 1 running smoothly and data have been successfully migrated to EOS on 07.04.2009 without disruption of operations Since the start the number of applications is 2703 and the number of issued certificates is 1073. 09/06/2009 Trade Contact Group

EORI start-up data All Member States except AT; DE and PT have passed successfully the test scenario for the EORI start-up upload All Member States except AT; DE; IT and PT have stored the national EORI start-up file on the Commission server The national EORI start-up files are being loaded into the central EOS database. DE announced that they will not be able to meet the deadline, so DE data will be missing on 01.07.2009. AT started collecting EORI data on 3rd June. AT data will be missing on 01/07.2009 The consolidated EORI start-up data will be ready to be sent offline to the Member States on 11th June 2009 09/06/2009 Trade Contact Group

Conclusions For all safety and security related IT systems, the systems specifications are accepted and the central services software has been developed and tested Currently for all systems Conformance tests are ongoing Some Member States have encountered delays, especially in the case of ICS and will not meet the legal deadline of 01.07.2009 Based upon this information received from the MS on delays encountered, the Conformance test will have to continue after July 2009 until mid 2010 09/06/2009 Trade Contact Group
