Amorphous solar panels Pros Are cheap and simple to produce Are durable and use less silicon Are 100 times thinner than typical crystalline solar panels

Amorphous solar panel Cons Deteriorate over years of use Produce less electricity Takes up more space

Crystalline solar panels Pros Lasts a little longer than amorphous solar panels. Takes up less space than the amorphous. Also produces more electricity than amorphous

Crystalline solar panels cons Are expensive to make. Less durable than amorphous panels. Use more silicon than amorphous panels. Hard to build.

Amorphous solar panels Are made of a homogenous layer of silicon atoms and semiconductors sprayed on a material, typically metal or glass Are produced in one session
