The story of six thinking hats – Magic hats United colours in Europe ZŠ Vidče (the Czech Republic) March 2015

Petra, Caroline and Diane met after school Petra, Caroline and Diane met after school. They were bored at home, so they met and played some games together. After a while the games began to pall them. They were silently sitting on the chairs and did not know what to do.

Petra had an idea to go to the loft Petra had an idea to go to the loft. „We can find there something interesting and new!“ And really, they found there an old box. This box was lying there for a long time because there was a thick layer of dust on it. When they opened the box, they saw colorful hats inside. Petra liked the hats very much. She took a black one and she put it on her head. Karolína took a blue one and Diana took a white hat. Karolína and Diana were smiling and they were glad about their new hats. But Petra did not understand why they were so happy because of these „ordinary“ hats. Suddenly Petra and Karolína started to argue. Diana couldn´t hear it. She tried to calm down them, but it was not possible. She ran down and met her mum.

When mum saw her white hat, she knew what happened When mum saw her white hat, she knew what happened. She explained her mum what they were doing and her mum told her story about the hats. They were magic. Diana was so upset and grumpy because of the black hat. This hat causes the bad temper if you are wearing it. The blue hat can change the person too. If somebody is wearing a blue hat then he wants to decide about everything. The white hat on the other hand subscribes you to look for new information. Diana started to cry. She did not know what to do now. But Mum took off her white hat and gave her a new yellow hat. Mum put on a green hat and waited for an idea how to help girls. After a while Diana started to feel better and now she feels everything will be OK.

Mum and Diana went upstairs to watch the girls Mum and Diana went upstairs to watch the girls. They were still arguying. Mum and Diana took off them their hats. Girls did not know what happened with them, so Diana told them everything. Girls smiled a lot to this story. The afternoon passed and they had to go home.
