Orlando National College Fair Sunday, October 15, 2017 1pm - 4pm Orange County Convention Center REGISTRATION (required) FREE AT WWW.NACACFAIRS.ORG/NCF to receive college fair details, avoid lines onsite, and share your contact information with your choice schools

2018 Graduation Requirements * English – 4 credits * Math – 4 credits, 1 of which must be Algebra 1 and 1 of which must be Geometry * Science – 3 credits, 1 of which must be Biology * Social Science – 3 credits which consist of 1 credit of World History, 1 credit of US History, .5 credit of US Govt and .5 credit of Economics *Fine/Practical Art – 1 credit *HOPE – 1 credit

What are the diploma options at East Ridge High School? Students must successfully complete one of the following diploma options: 1. 24-credit Standard Diploma (includes HOPE & online course) 2. 18-credit Academically Challenging Curriculum to Enhance Learning (ACCEL) (eliminates HOPE/Online course and some electives)

What are the state assessment requirements? Students must participate and pass the following statewide assessments: 1. Grade 10 ELA-FSA (or ACT/SAT concordant score) 2. Algebra I End-of-Course (EOC) and the results constitute thirty percent of the final course grade * or a comparative score on the Postsecondary Education Readiness Test (P.E.R.T)

EOC Participation Students must participate in the EOC assessments and the results constitute 30 percent of the final course grade if the course was taken in a Florida Public School. These assessments are only in the following subjects: *Algebra 1 *Geometry *U.S. History *Biology

Bright Futures The Bright Futures application is the actually the Florida Financial Aid Application (FFAA) Seniors will apply during October at ERHS through English 4 classes or on their own.
