Meet the Animal Agents Bernice the brown bear is in charge of the Animal Agency. She loves solving mysteries – and eating honey! Bart the bloodhound is brilliant at sniffing out trouble! Daisy the rabbit is super speedy in her turbo-charged chair. She’s the perfect furry friend to keep tabs on a suspect. Slip and Slide, also known as the Snake Twins, are a charming pair. They can stun a suspect into submission with their hypnotic stares! Bernice Bart Daisy Slip and Slide

Something strange is happening at the library… Something strange is happening at the library – someone has left graffiti on the library wall and things are going missing… The Animal Agents are on the case – and they need YOU to help them solve the mystery!

Can you help us find out who has been up to no good ? The Animal Agents have found four suspects, but they could do with collecting some more clues

Animal Agents is FREE to join at your Local Library. Your mission: Sign up at the library to join the Challenge and receive your special agent collector folder - IT’S FREE! Read SIX library books over the holidays Collect stickers for each book you read The stickers will help you crack the case and catch the crook! Animal Agents is FREE to join at your Local Library. Read any 6 books from your local library from 15th July to Sunday 10th September As you read your books you will receive rewards. When you join you receive an Animal Agents collectors folder (as above). Every time you read a book you will receive a sticker to help you solve the mystery. Some clues are even smelly!

Your rewards Collector folder when you join the Challenge Books 1 & 2: Sticker for each book Book 3: Sticker & Bookmark Books 4 & 5: Stickers for each book Order of Incentives when the children have read a certain number of books they receive incentives. Children choose how they want to complete the challenge – they might read 1 book at a time or visit the library after every 2 they have read – or read and all six and return to collect their incentives. Each sticker adds to the picture on the children’s collector folder to reveal clues as to who is responsible for the strange goings on in the library. Some of the stickers are scratch and sniff. Children choose what they would like to read on the challenge - story book, fact books, poetry, jokes, graphic novels – as long as it is a library book all reading counts! [The aim of the Summer Reading Challenge is to inspire a love of reading and encourage children to keep reading over the summer holidays. Library staff and volunteers will chat to children about the books they read for the Challenge]

Complete the Challenge by reading six library books and you’ll get your own medal, certificate and wristband Every child who completes the challenge will receive a medal in a presentation wallet, a certificate and an Animal Agents wristband.
