Meet The Staff We’ve Been Busy Christmas What’s Happening December 2014 Edition Books are Fun Christmas CES Drives I’m proud to say that kids are happy for Christmas! Charlotte Elementary has provided food for the food drive, and they filled up the box! We are now starting a jacket campaign. Charlotte Elementary is collecting gloves, jackets, or scarfs that they don’t want or need. If you have any things that could keep people warm, please bring them. Thank you! Clarissa B. There are many things to do in school. One of my favorite things is reading. We read books when we wait for everyone to finish tests. I like to read when waiting for someone who is doing their work. I enjoy reading the books in the classroom library. I also read at home. We read a lot to learn and to have fun. Alicia G. My favorite holiday is Christmas because you get a lot of presents and decorate your Christmas tree. You can put up your lights on your house and on your tree. This year I have a real Christmas tree. Alaya R. Meet The Staff What’s Happening What’s happening in class? We have been studying new things-such as learning about dinosaurs. We have been doing articles. It is near Christmas and we are going to have a break. We have been studying graphs and learning about dot plots. We are going to the Tobin Center Flat Stanley play. Luke G. Our first staff member that was interviewed is Clarissa. Clarissa’s favorite color is opal. She plays sports. She has 2 pets and her favorite family member is her mom. Clarissa likes pizza and her favorite place is her house. She does not like cats and has lots of friends. Madison L. We’ve Been Busy Hungry Caterpillar In 3rd grade we’ve been learning about graphing and multiplication. First, we did multiplication and lots of people were struggling. Then last week, we took a CBA test. It’s like a STAAR test. A lot of people got their grades today and they did really well. We went to the Nutcracker because Charlotte Elementary school is learning about drama. We are also going to another field trip to the to the Tobin Center next week to see Flat Stanley. Juli-Anna L. We are learning about drama and plays. We went to the Tobin Center to watch the Hungry Caterpillar. The play has a lot of excitement. Learning about drama is really fun. The play had a lot of drama.
