Advocacy Topic My issue is that the uniform at Seed Public Charter School of Washington, DC to strict. I believe that if the uniforms were better, students that attend Seed PCS would be in uniform more. Table of Contents

Advocates My name is Domonique Harvin and I’m with the Fellow Seed Students. I am here to propose ideas to make the uniform At Seed PCS Better. Table of Contents

Advocacy Objective My purpose is to change the uniforms at Seed PCS, so students could be in uniform more and the complaints about the uniform from the students would go down. Table of Contents

I am advocating my issue to the principal, Ms. Stacks, of Seed PCS. Audience I am advocating my issue to the principal, Ms. Stacks, of Seed PCS. Table of Contents

Calls-To-Actions To post flyers about a meeting at the courtyard in front of Brown Hall for all people who want to change the uniform. Have the people to fill out surveys, questions about the uniform. Present these surveys and ideas about the uniforms and how they can help the students be in uniform and start to focus on school. Reflection From doing this project I learned first and foremost what advocacy really meant. That if you have an idea, say it. You may think it could never work but you never know. There could be people advocating the same thing. I also learned that having an idea and saying it comes with a a lot of work. Its takes lot of organizing and research. Also for back up, you should look for advocates that feel the same way. Table of Contents
