Materials Ice cubes mm ruler Plastic Tray Data sheet Water (dyed blue) Clay Infrared heat lamp

Procedure – Floating Ice Clay was added to the tray and molded to simulate land. Water (dyed blue) and 10 ice cubes were to the try for a total of 10mm. The infrared light was turned on and shone on the tray. An initial measurement was made, marked in the clay and recorded. Measurements were taken every 15 minutes and recorded on the data sheet.

Record the readings in your packet in the chart for #4 Record the readings in your packet in the chart for #4. We will start with FLOATING ICE.
