Antanavas Youth Club “Draugai” 2006 – 2010 Ukmergė, 2010

Our Projects Labyrinth – to promote the initiatives of rural youth; Labyrinth – to raise the competence of rural youth; Labyrinth – to educate entrepreneurship of rural youth; Healthy body – healthy mind; Orienteering race of Antanavas Elder Cup; Community promotion by celebrating Antanavas 250th anniversary.

Labyrinth – to promote the initiatives of rural youth (2006)

The idea of first Labyrinth

Results: Was built the first Labyrinth in Baltic States; Was founded in Antanavas Youth Club.

Labyrinth – to raise the competence of rural youth (2007)

Objectives: Beautify the Labyrinth; Learn how to write a project application; Find new friends.

Results built a trail by Labyrinth; seeded lawn; built in trash can; created a movie about this project.

Labyrinth – to educate entrepreneurship of rural youth (2008)

Objectives: Clean up the Labyrinth and its environment; Help young people to gain knowledge of entrepreneurship; For Youth Club to gain more expierence in project implementation and organization.

Results Young people learned more about entrepreneurship; planted a hedgerow; created wind mills to scare moles; created a movie about project.

Healthy body – healthy mind (2008)

Objectives: Repair sports grounds of Antanavas and Kolukai villages; Organize a trip route Antanavas – Visakio Ruda – Kazliskiai – Jure town; Organize sports game.

Results Organized 3 day trip; Bought new sports equipment for sports grounds; Organized small sports game for youth.

Orienteering race of Antanavas Elder Cup (2009)

Objective Organize the first orienteering race in history of Antanavas and promote this sport among young people.

Community promotion by celebrating Antanavas 250th anniversary (2010 – 2012)

Objectives develop non-institutional social services; organize series of events to celebrate anniversary; Publish a book about history of Antanavas; Organize 2 conferences for the 5th B-day of Youth Club and the 10th B-day of Antanavas community; Create a website of Antanavas.
