line Is the basis for most art. Created by a point moving in space. Can be thick or thin, curved or straight, spiraled or jagged. Can be used to create shading with hatching/ crosshatching. Can imply movement. Can be a simple contour. Can be implied

shape Is what most art can be reduced to after lines. Dale Chihuly Frank Gehry Is what most art can be reduced to after lines. Can be geometric or organic.
