Draft Cruising Manual Highlights Chapter 1 - Cruiser safety - cruiser and check cruiser will use estimates if safety concerns can’t be reasonably mitigated. Section 2.1.2.1(1)a & 2.7.1.2 – Housekeeping, clarify measure/count standard for clear-cut and selection in the Interior. Section 2.1.2.2.(7)b - Housekeeping. Section 2.1.2.2.(9) - Housekeeping. Section 2.2.1 - Housekeeping. Section 2.2.2.3(4) - The reference to border plots is removed.

Section 3.4.1.6 - The reference to half plots is removed. Section 3.4.2 - Housekeeping. Add a statement that walkthrough plots are not used for timber type or harvest method boundaries. Clarification that missing or extra damage codes constitute incorrect cruise data. Section 4.6.2(4)c,I - Column 13 of the % reduction input will be used for live (L) and dead (D) trees for CGNF and Loss Factor cruises.

Table 17 – Other Tenures - Replace the wording in #3 to ensure continuity between the FIZ and PSYU numbers in the E&N Lands. Table 18 - Correct the age range for K and L Cottonwood to read 1-40 years.
