TRAINING CENTRE FOR CIVIL PROTECTION AND DISASTER RELIEF The centre is located 15 km southeast from Ljubljana.

TRAINING CENTRE ˝Tower˝ built for training from heights. ˝High ruin˝ with outside surfaces designed for rescuing from and out of the building. ˝Covered pool˝ and ˝natural pond˝ used for water-rescue training.

TRAINING CENTRE ˝Fire-fighting polygon˝ for training fire-fighters in real situation. ˝Ruin village˝ for searching and rescuing victims with dog handlers. ˝Polygon˝ for fire-fighters rescuing from car accidents.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING The following participants are educated and trained in the Training Centre: the members of the Civil Protection units, services and agencies the members of the operative units, services and NGO’s the members of the economic companies, associations and other organisations dealing with the rescue and relief citizens whom the objection of conscience of military service is acknowledged inhabitants

ALTERNATIVE CIVILIAN SERVICE conscientious objectors may perform alternative civil service in the area of protection and rescue CIVIL SERVICE CENTER FOR PROTECTION AND RESCUE
