JavaScript Overview What is it? What is the history of JavaScript? JavaScript is a scripting language used to enable programmatic access to objects within other applications. It is primarily used in the form of client-side JavaScript for the development of dynamic websites. What is the history of JavaScript? JavaScript was originally developed by Brendan Eich in 1998 (pictured) while he was working for Netscape (now Mozilla). The Current version of JavaScript is 1.8 which was released in 2008. How do I construct JavaScript code? You can stop writing HTML code at any time and go into JavaScript by typing <script> and closing it off with </script> Where can I go to learn more about JavaScript?
