Master Plan Institute IMPORTANT! June 20-23 for new EL Designees (0-1 years in the position) June 21-23 for all EL Designees (2+ years in the position) Location:  Garfield High School, 8:00-3:00 p.m. each day   Or July 25-28 for new EL Designees (0-1 years in the position) July 25-27 for all EL Designees (2+ years in the position) Location:  Virgil Middle School, IMPORTANT! Your principal must fill out the survey that was sent to them so you are invited to register for MPI. There will be two opportunities to attend Master Plan Institute for the 2016/2017 school year. You will get paid your hourly rate. MPI is a required PD that all schools must attend. All schools must send 1 certificated representative to gather the information that will help you maintain a compliant program through out the year. Were going to walk you through some of the trends that were identified, and they may be similar to trends at your school. Here is a snapshot of our local district 21,928 K-12 English Learners 26% English Learners

Here are the overall performance levels by grade level (Elementary) for LDNE. As we analyzed the data we able to identify which grade levels had the most students scoring CELDT levels 1, 2 & 3 3rd grade had most students at CELDT levels 1, 2, 3 (1,753 students) 2nd grade was the next grade level with CELDT levels 1, 2, 3 (1,627 students) We talked about how the change in the test booklet and the change in the demands of the assessment as you move from K-1 book, 2nd book, 3-5 book. Note to Sandra: animate 3rd grade box first, then 2nd grade box
