I Love The Snow!

It’s snowing, it’s snowing! Oh, I love the snow! It’s snowing, it’s snowing, the winter wind is blowing. We’re sliding and gliding around the city square. It’s freezin’, we’re sneezin’, we haven’t got a care. We’re playing on a winter day out in the wintry air.

It’s snowing, it’s snowing, the snowbanks all are growing. I love the snow, I love the snow, everywhere I go. everywhere I go. On the frozen creeks, even on my frozen cheeks, oh, I love the snow. Outside I go, Outside I go, oh, how I love the snow. I love the snow. When I see the mountains capped even when my lips are chapped, oh, I love the snow. It’s snowing, it’s snowing, the snowbanks all are growing. It’s so great, we can’t wait to go outside and play. It’s mushy, it’s slushy, it’s winter on the way. The snow is here, so give a cheer for a perfect holiday.

Time to bundle up, we’re in a frigid zone. Drink choc’late from a cup; wear ev’rything you own! I love the snow. I love the snow. I love the snow!

DO YOU WANT TO BUILD A SNOWMAN?

I never see you anymore. Come out the door! (knocking) (opt. solo 1)Do you want to build a snowman? Come on, let’s go and play! I never see you anymore. Come out the door! It’s like you’ve gone away. All: We used to be best buddies, and now we’re not. I wish you would tell me why. Do you want to build a snowman? It doesn’t have to be a snowman. Okay, bye.

Do you want to build a snowman? Or ride our bike around the halls? (opt. solo 2) Do you want to build a snowman? Or ride our bike around the halls? I think some company is overdue; I’ve started talking to the pictures on the walls. All: It gets a little lonely, all these empty rooms, just watching the hours tick by. (click tongue to make clock sound) (opt. solo 3) Please, I know you’re in there. People are asking where you’ve been. They say, “Have courage,” and I’m trying to; I’m right out here for you, just let me in.

We only have each other; it’s just you and me. What are we gonna do? All: We only have each other; it’s just you and me. What are we gonna do? Do you want to build a snowman? (opt. 3 soloists) Okay, bye.

Spinning in the Light

Long, long ago in a land far away. Miracles happened we tell of today. One candle glimmered for eight wondrous nights. We celebrate and remember the lights. And we’ll dance and we’ll dance all through the night. Spinning around surrounded by light.

Spinning and spinning and spinning around. Light as the snow as it falls to the ground. Here in the season of wonder and light. We celebrate that miraculous night. And we’ll dance and we’ll dance all through the night. Spinning around surrounded by light. Surrounded by light, surrounded by light.

Mister SANTA

Mister Santa, (no echo this time) bring us some toys, Bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum. Mister Santa, (no echo this time) bring us some toys, bring Merry Christmas to all girls and boys. And ev’ry night we’ll go to sleep singing and dream about the presents you’ll be bringing. Santa, promise us please, give ev’ry reindeer a hug and a squeeze. We’ll be good, as good can be. Mister Santa don’t forget me.

Mister Santa, (echo part 2nd and 3rd time) dear old Saint Nick, Be awful careful and please don’t get sick. Put on your coat when breezes are blowin’, and when you cross the street look where you’re goin’. Santa, we love you so, We hope you never get lost in the snow. Take your time when you unpack, Mister Santa don’t hurry back.

Mister Santa, (echo part 2nd and 3rd time) We’ve been so good, We’ve washed the dishes and done what we should. Made up the beds and scrubbed up our toesies. We’ve used a Kleenex when we blow our noseies, Santa, look at our ears, They’re clean as whistles, we’re sharper than shears. Now we’ve put you on the spot, Mister Santa bring us, oh, please, please bring us, Mister Santa bring us a lot!

Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire The Christmas Song Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire. Jack Frost nipping at your nose, yuletide carols being sung by a choir, and folks dressed up like Eskimos. Ev’rybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe help to make the season bright. Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow will find it hard to sleep tonight. They know that San-ta’s on his way; he’s loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh. And ev’ry mother’s child is gonna spy to see if reindeer really know how to fly. And so I’m offering this simple phrase to kids from one to ninety-two. Although it’s been said many times many ways, “Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas to you!” Oo.

The Angel Band
