Using prefix and suffix

We use ‘robot arms’ to help children hear the phonemes used when speaking. This develops listening skills. Phoneme frames help children construct words. We use sound buttons to help write the phonemes.

To become an effective writer… Ensure speaking and word pronunciation is corrected. Model, correct and amend errors or misunderstandings in tense. Expand vocabulary – and explain it!! Look for spelling patterns and word associations around you.

Please remember To enjoy reading and writing with your children. Some children will take longer than others to learn their sounds and start to read and write.
