Early Life Michael Joseph Jackson was born on August 29, 1958, in Gary, Indiana. He was the eighth child of the Jackson family and he was a member of The Jackson 5 along with 4 of his brothers, Jackie, Tito, Marlon and Jermaine. They released some very famous songs such as ‘ABC’, ‘I Want You Back’, ‘Blame It on the Boogie’ and ‘Rockin’ Robin’. He then went on to begin his solo career in 1971.
