England The flag is made up of the cross of petron saints of England – (St George´s red cross on a white field)

Ireland This flag is made up of St Patrick´s red diagonals on a white field

Scotland The Scotish flag is made up of St Andrew´s white diagonals on a blue field

Wales The Welsh flag, called the Welsh dragon, shows a red dragon on a green and white field. Wales is not represented on the Union flag, because when the flag first appeard it was already united with England
