Fig. 1. (A) Endoscopic finding Fig. 1. (A) Endoscopic finding. At 25-35 cm from the incisor teeth, a submucosal tumor with a smooth surface, covered by normal esophageal mucosa, was seen. (B) Chest computed tomography scan findings (enhanced image). An oval shaped mass was seen on the esophagus. The lesion compressing the trachea and the esophagus showed heterogeneous enhancement. (C) Gross finding. The excised mass shows a well circumscribed, yellowish brown cut surface, measuring 11.8×6.5 cm in size.
