Howl for the wolves…. Ask audience to howl. If they don’t, call on a student or two and get them to howl. Use that to transition and introduce the Wolf Sanctuary of PA. Background info: The Wolf Sanctuary of PA was started by the Darlington family over 30 years ago and consists of an 80 acres of woodland to provide a place for the wolves to thrive. At first the sanctuary was just a haven for the wolves; but now, the sanctuary serves as a learning facility for the community.

wolves are facing extinction! The Issue: Many wolves are facing extinction! In the 70’s and 80’s wolves were added to the endangered list. Many types of wolves, especially the grey wolf, almost faced extinction, which means that they would no longer exist on this planet.
