A consistent approach Always use this template for NHSBT presentations. We want a consistent approach across the whole organisation. A consistent approach strengthens our brand, our values and our reputation as an expert and quality organisation. There is flexibility within this template to use blank or designed backgrounds. Do not run text over the ribbon. If you need more space use a blank slide background such as this one.

Change slide background To change the background of individual slides right click the mouse on the relevant slide. Select ‘Slide Design.’ A selection of designs will appear on the right of the screen – only use the corporate designs at the top. Hover the curser over the background you want and click on the arrow. Choose ‘Apply to Selected Slide.’ The background will change to the new design.

Good presentations Slides are the illustrations for a presentation, not the presentation itself. Keep the content short and friendly. Less is More! You should have no more than 5 or 6 bullet points on each slide. Don’t mix subjects on one slide. Use real photos to bring presentations to life. A picture can take up the whole page, with or without the ribbon – see next slide.
