What is required for graduation? Complete one of the HPHS graduation plans Complete and log at least 50 hours of Community Service Meet requirements for STAAR EOC exams Meet minimum requirements on 5 STAAR EOC exams (English 1 and English 2, Algebra 1, Biology and US History)
Outside Credits Board policy No more than two full credits (four semesters) for high school graduation may be earned through a combination of concurrent enrollment in college courses, correspondence courses, and all other out-of-district courses. These two credits are limited to courses not offered on-line through Highland Park High School.

Registration Calendar January 9-13 – Introduction to 9th Grade, receive packets January 11 – Parent Meeting – 10:00 am and 6:00 pm January 19 – HPHS Counselors meet with 8th grade teams January 23-27 - 8th Grade Advisement Week January 25 – 8th Grade Night/Department Fair at HPHS 6:00 January 30-February 6 -Student online enrollment February 9-10 – HPHS Counselors review course selections February 9-10 - Turn in completed and signed 4 year plan March 1– HPHS Mails 2017-18 Registration Confirmation March 24– Signed Registration Confirmation to be turned in to the 8th Grade Counselor at HPMS
