INTERNATIONAL ART WEEK 7-10 June 2016 Homework task EYFS 1. MY FAVOURITE PICTURE Find a picture you really like by a famous artist. If you are stuck you might like to choose a painting by artist we have learned about in class - Piet Mondrain, Wassily Kandinsky, Roy Lichtenstein or Henri Rousseau. On the attached sheet draw your own version of the picture you have chosen using felt pens /colouring pencils or crayons. Answer the questions about the original picture. Don’t forget to write your name and class on your sheet. The sheets will be used to make “The Stewart Fleming Book of Favourite Pictures”. 2. THE SHAPE GAME COMPETITION As a school we have played this game in previous years; it involves taking the image overleaf turning it any way round you wish, using any medium you like (felt pens, crayons, pencils), and turning it into something different… Maybe a fish, or a balloon or even a fancy dress mask. Some ideas are below. Be as creative as you wish as there will be prizes for the most original. This homework is due in on Friday 10th June.
