Prayer Philippians 4:1-7

Lives Are Shattered How do you carry on? Focus? Gain purpose? Find peace that is now elusive? What do we do when our emotional and spiritual strength have evaporated? “In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.” Philippians. 4:6-7

Lives Are Shattered Job 17:1, “My spirit is broken, my days are extinguished, The grave is ready for me …” Verse 11, “My days are past, my plans are torn apart, Even the wishes of my heart.” NASU

The Nature Of God – Holy Leviticus 11:44-45, “For I am Jehovah your God: sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that moveth upon the earth. For I am Jehovah that brought you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.” cf. 1 Peter 1:15-16

The Nature Of God – Holy Exodus 15:11, “Who is like unto thee, O Jehovah, among the gods? Who is like thee, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders?”
