Here’s mine.... INGREDIENTS (8-10): Cow (ground beef, cheese) Tomatoes (ketchup) Cocoa (chocolate) Potatoes (French fries) Wheat (bread) Eggs (mayonnaise) Cucumber (pickles) Sugarcane (sugar) Vanilla (extract in cookie dough)

From the Old or New World? INGREDIENTS (8-10): Cow (ground beef, cheese) - old Tomatoes (ketchup) - new Cocoa (chocolate) - new Potatoes (French fries) - new Wheat (bread) - old Eggs (mayonnaise) - old Cucumber (pickles) - old Sugarcane (sugar) - new Vanilla (extract in cookie dough) - new

Your task: Create Your Own Step one: identify your own favorite meal. Step two: list 8-10 ingredients in your meal that are from the Columbian Exchange list. Step three: list the ingredients and identify whether they are from the Old World or New World Step four: create a handout that depicts your favorite meal and lists the ingredients. Step five: get culminating questions from Mrs. Stewart and answer them.

Culminating Questions Where did the majority of the ingredients originate - in the Old or New World? In your opinion, how did the Columbian Exchange impact the diets of both the Old and New World?
