Presentation transcript:

Alma Snow was elegantly tumbling and slowly landing on an eerie, abandoned town. An innocent little girl called Alma was cheerfully skipping and playfully hopping down a dirty, worn down lane. At the end of the lane, Alma noticed a chalkboard. “I wonder why there’s a chalkboard there” pondered Alma. “Maybe I’ll write my name on it” Alma mumbled as she picked up a piece of chalk. Under some names, she wrote her name in cursive writing and the screeeeech! was so loud. As Alma stood back, pulled her dark pink scarf down, she stared at her name. Suddenly, an inexplicable doll slowly turned as it rose up in a misty window. Glancing over her shoulder, she peered up and down the street. Spotting the doll, she started to approach it. Seconds later, Alma noticed the doll looked like her from head to toe. Was Alma awake or was she dreaming? As strange as a cat and a dog in love, Alma ran to the door. Looking through the window on the door, Alma tried to open it. It wouldn’t move! A second later, Alma folded her arms in anger and went to stomp away. A moment later, Alma realised she could throw a snowball at the window on the door. It still wouldn’t open! Suddenly, when Alma walked away, the door mysteriously opened. As fast as light, Alma ran to the door. Peering through the opening in the door, she went into the shop. Inside the shop, she saw a lot of dolls.”I wonder who owns the shop? Maybe I’ll buy some dolls.” Alma mumbled as she walked over to the doll that looked like her. All of a sudden, Alma tripped over a really old doll riding a bike. A second later, Alma picked up the doll and put it up right. Looking up, Alma noticed the doll was gone. Where did it go? Searching under the table, Alma looked up and saw the doll. As fast as a bullet, she climbed up the shelf. Reaching out her hand, Alma grabbed the doll. All of a sudden, Alma got sucked into the doll. Would she be a doll forever? Glancing around, Alma saw so many more dolls than before. As quiet as a mouse, another doll rose up in the window... By Cathal M
