Baptism is Central Part of Christianity Death, Burial & Resurrection Point of Change Essential to Salvation Blood of Christ Essential to church Parallel to Christ Death, Burial & Resurrection He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. (Mk. 16:16)

Baptism Is Not For Everyone Acts 18:8 “…and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized.” Why is it NOT for everyone? Acts 2:38 Then Peter said to them, Repent, and let every one of you be baptized Acts 22:16 And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins Baptism is for a person who: 1. is in sin . . . Acts 2:38; 22:16 2. is a believer . . . Acts 18:8; Mk. 16:16 3. repents of his sins . . . Acts 2:38

Baptism Is Not For Everyone Babies Children Not Accountable Sinner Not Believe Sinner Not Repent

I’m Ready When: I know I am in sin I understand - Jesus I understand what I need to do Believe in Christ (Jn. 8:24) Repent of past sin (Acts 2:38) Confess that I believe (Rom. 10:9-10; Acts 8:37) Be Baptized in water (Mk. 16:16; Acts 2:38) Rom 10:9-10 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
