DS-TE protocol Extensions DS-TE Russian Dolls Model (RDM) DS-TE Maximum Allocation Model (MAM) draft-ietf-tewg-diff-te-proto-04.txt draft-ietf-tewg-diff-te-russian-03.txt draft-ietf-tewg-diff-te-mam-00.txt Francois Le Faucheur flefauch@cisco.com IETF 57 Vienna - TEWG
Agreements since Last Meeting: Bandwidth Constraints “Max Reservable Bandwidth” is to be interpreted as an "aggregate constraint“ (ie across all CTs) regardless of BC Model (including for MAM). The "Link Bandwidth“ does not play a role in admission control or path computation (ie it is not to be interpreted as the maximum size of an individual LSP) IETF 57 Vienna - TEWG
Agreements since Last Meeting: LOM Core DS-TE specs must cover the “LSP Size Overbooking Method” and the “Link Size Overbooking Method” The Local Overbooking Multipliers (LOM) Method will be progressed separately (eg separate Experimental RFC) IETF 57 Vienna - TEWG
Changes on -proto, -russian, -mam took out anything related to Local Overbooking Multipliers (LOM) from all three documents reflected role for Max Reservable Bandwidth as "aggregate constraint", including model definitions and formulas for unreserved Bw updated CAC formula (to remove the extra condition on "Link BAndwidth") updated definition for MAM with additional aggregate constraint of Max Res bandwidth added section on "addressing DSTE scenarios" in MAM (as it exists already for RDM) as requested/agreed in SFO IETF 57 Vienna - TEWG
Next Steps -proto, -russian, -mam -proto to go to Last Call in Standards Track (with notice to relevant WGs: ISIS, OSPF, MPLS …) -russian to go to Last Call in Experimental Track -mam to go to Last Call in Experimental Track Current text on LOM from –proto,-russian,-mam to be published in separate I-D (Sanjaya/Francois) IETF 57 Vienna - TEWG
