What we will do What we will learn 10C 28 Hui-Tanguru 2017 The components of blood What is in blood Go over how lungs work and what they do – from trachea to alveolus and capillary What lungs do. Why surface area is a biggie for the lungs Revisit respiration in more detail and define the main terms: mitochondria, aerobic, anaerobic, oxygen, carbon dioxide, adenosine triphosphate, haemoglobin, iron The main words used in respiration and how respiration works – both aerobically and anaerobically More on the circulatory system, especially the heart What valves are and what they do. Set some more HW, another due date AND have some more HRT How to use time well – and thus reduce our HW. If time, find out how to measure fitness and then see how fit we are Two ways of measuring fitness

Sample only HW item Skills practiced Scipad pages 67-93 but not 72, 73, 84-89 Due Zenday 37th of Octember Electrical Circuits Sample only
