Answer 1 – 50 How long will this take? What are the steps that need to be completed? When does it need to be completed? When do I have time? Where does it fall in terms of priorities?

Question 2 - 10 Name one nonverbal and one verbal cue to pay attention to while taking notes

Answer 2 – 10 Nonverbal – written on board, gestures, eye contact etc. Verbal – pauses, repetition, speed, loudness of voice, phrases etc.

Answer 2 – 20 Skimming – reading quickly and superficially Scanning – reading a specific item carefully

Answer 3 – 50 Authority – who is the author? Purpose – why was this site created? Publication and Format – where was it published? What does it look like? Relevance – is it related to your research? Date of publication – is it current? Has it been updated? Documentation – are there sources documented? Are those sources reliable?

Answer 4 – 40 Audience – who is my audience? Content – what are my main points I want my audience to remember? Language – how formal is my presentation? Are there technical words I need to define for my audience?

Question 4 - 50 Name at least three things wrong with this slide: Final Exam Review: todya we will go over and review and revise and talk about the different topics we learned about this semester as a class. Ther will be a presentacion by me about the many different various topics that we have talked about with questions for you to answer and compete together as a class.
