Conflict with different religions Click to add notes By Aroush and Laya

What is our presentation about? Religions are a very special part of certain peoples lives, and although the meant to keep peace,at certain times, religions can fight over conflict or a disagreement. Our presentation is going to be focusing on the Islam and Christianity religions.enjoy! ISLAM

What is islam? Islam is the religion of Muslims.Islam implies the attainment of peace through submission to Allah. He has not given birth and was not born. And no one is comparable to him, there is none worthy of worship except Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.Jesus will come back ,he will kill Dajjal(who will claim to be a god)and lead a prayer and he will rule before the world will end The Quran is the most sacred text, as it is believed to be the literal word of God as revealed to Muhammad. The Hadith is a secondary text that records sayings of Muhammad and his followers. These two texts form the basis for all Islamic theology, practice and Sharia (Islamic law).

What is christianity? Christians believe that in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth, and then created mankind. So because no one was perfect, He sent his only son,Jesus to come down to this earth to save us all from sin.Jesus was perfect, and he died on a cross to take our place, and rose again on the third day.

Why did they fight?(slide #5) Christians and muslims fought, because they had diverse beliefs in their religion. They both believe that god sent Jesus, but Christians believe that Jesus is the son of God ,while muslims believe that Jesus is the prophet muhammad pbuh. Lets watch this short video that explains the 2 religions, and their differences.

An Example of a fight Jerusalem, the capital of Israel, is an important place for Muslims, Christians, and Jewish people. Jews believe the Messiah will one day appear in jerusalem, Muslims believe that Muhammad had did his best to spread it in jerusalem , and Christians believe this is where Jesus Christ rose from the dead. This city is part of the history of Christians and Muslims and they have fought about it. This is one example of when Muslims and Christians have fought.

Is it a Problem with Religion? Even though there are differences with religions, both Islam and Christianity are about peace. The religions don’t encourage fighting, but some people will still choose to fight for multiple reasons such as politics, land, resources or power. The problem isn’t with religion, it’s with the people who choose to fight.
