Find Spelling words on your child’s teacher webpage The Student will work on decoding words in context and in isolation. Students will distinguish between long and short vowels. In writing, students will begin to revise drafts by adding or deleting a word, phrase, or sentence Students will recognize and use punctuation marks as appropriate. Write simple sentences that make sense. Math The Student will work on classifying and sorting 3D shapes Identify 3D shapes and describe their attributes using geometric language Science The students will continue to predict and identify changes in materials caused by heating and cooling. Social Studies The students will work on identifying and describing community workers and their roles.
