Introduction Purpose - “To preserve Perimeter’s position as the premier office and retail market in the Southeast” Context Commuter Trails Master Plan 2000, 2005, 2010 LCI Plans Municipal Initiatives Relevant Market Trends Preference for urban living among young professionals Bicycling as a lifestyle attribute Need for commute options and last-mile connections

Vision … for safe and convenient bicycling to be a contributing attribute of Perimeter’s civic realm, sense of place and quality of life - From Perimeter @ the Center – Future Focus

Goal: Safe and Convenient opportunities for bicycling Developed with participation of key Perimeter stakeholders Implemented via collaborative partnerships with both the private and public sectors An important attribute of Perimeter’s transformation from an edge city to an urban center Transforming Perimeter into a successful model for other suburban communities to emulate
