Mira-S 2. Features 1. Mechanism of Mira-S A kind of texturized Polyester yarn which differs from other polyester yarns by virtue of a chemically modified raw material. - Inherently elastic yarn by changing micro-structure of polyester to be more elastic - Incorporate an elastomeric component into fiber - Stretch & recovery is much better than so called ‘mechanical stretch polyester yarn’, of which higher crimp is achieved by excessive friction and heat setting. - It has an enhanced stretch performance compared to normal chemical fibers like polyamide, polyester Spandex > Mira-S > Mechanical stretch polyester > nylon 6, 66 > polyester 2. Features ▶ Excellent stretch & recovery ▶ Soft Touch : no need for companion fibers unlike spandex. ▶ Excellent light fastness than spandex products (suitable for outdoor application) ▶ Excellent Dyeing Properties, can be dyed darker than normal yarn (better print quality) ▶ Easy-set properties ▶ High chemical-resistance ex. chlorine, solvent ▶ Easy care properties
