1917- Smith Hughes Act of Congress Established Teaching Agriculture in High School.

1928- Virginia Farming Club Boys studying Ag started a farming club and the idea took off like wildfire

1965- FFA Merged with NFA Civil Rights integrated separate but equal groups New Farmers of America

1969- Girls were allowed to join

1988- Named Change Future Farmers of America Changed to National FFA Organization
