Yuba College Accreditation Update Yuba Community College Board of Trustees Meeting October 12, 2017 Presented by: Dr. Sonja Lolland, ALO

Updates Accreditation Writing Teams completed Draft I in May 2017 Super-readers provided two rounds of feedback over the summer ALO updated College stakeholders on Accreditation during Convocation Revised timelines to coincide with ACCJC due date of July Gap Analysis completed and Action Plans are identified for Standards I and II Quality Focus Essay work began on 8/25 by College Effectiveness and Accreditation Committee CEAC selected the QFE topics: Student Learning Outcomes and Distance Education Sub-standard drafts were sent to specific governance bodies for review and feedback

Updates (cont’d) Redesigning YC Accreditation Website Uploaded Standards I, II, and IVA/B drafts for college input One-voice editing begins November 2017 Collaborating with District Team identified District/College Responsibility Matrix College writing teams met with District on September 22 for Standards III and IV with a follow-up scheduled on October 20 Accreditation newsletters sent out to all employees in March, May and September 2017 Yuba College Accreditation Forum - 10/25/2017, 10:30-12:00.
