Ms. Renee Carney Technology Absentee Policy 2016-2017 Tardy Policy: My responsibilities as your teacher: To treat you with respect and care for you as an individual. To provide you with an orderly classroom environment. To provide you with necessary discipline. To provide motivation. To teach you the required content. In B2 If you cause a problem, I will ask you to solve it. If you can’t solve the problem, or choose not to, I will intervene. If you feel something is unfair, share with me, “I’m not sure that’s fair,” and we will talk. Absentee Policy 2016-2017 Regular School Days for Scholars 9:30am - 4:00pm I will place all handouts in the red folder. Scholars are responsible for checking the folder when they return to school to retrieve copies of handouts and information about the notes and classwork for the days that they missed. Technology Computers will be used daily in Reading Intensive. Scholars are expected to be on task on the iReady program for 45 minutes per week, and can access iReady at home. Students are expected to abide by all school and district digital safety rules and guidelines. Instructions on how to get on iReady from home: 1. Log in to Focus using scholar’s R2D2 (username and password). Click on the link for iReady and login using R2D2. Dress for Success Guidelines: TOPS: Polo style, short or long sleeve-must have a collar, Colors-Must be solid white, black, dark green, or gold/yellow (our school colors) Logos no larger than a quarter, Must be appropriate length (no midriff please!)   BOTTOMS: Solid Black or Khaki ankle or knee length bottoms only. No leggings, spandex (any tight form fitting), denim, etc. bottoms permitted Blue Jeans, full pant length, may be worn on Fridays ONLY. Please ensure bottoms fit appropriately (no undergarments showing).  Belts are strongly recommended. Footwear-needs to be safe and appropriate, we suggest there are no open toes or backs for safety purposes. Tardy Policy: Scholars will be marked tardy when they arrive after the bell without a pass.  Scholars who arrive tardy with a pass will be marked “excused tardy”.  Scholars who arrive on a late bus will receive a late bus pass and will be marked “bus tardy”.  3 or more tardies per quarter require parent contact documented in Focus, and possible referral. Excessively Tardy and Skipping Consequence:   Parent contact, Focus documentation, and referral. I, ________________________________________, have read and understand the rules and expectations for class. I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to contact my teacher if I have any questions or concerns. Student ________________________________ Parent ____________________________________ Sign…
