State Flag New Jersey’ flag was adopted in 1896. That’s an old flag reallllllllly old

Who Came First? The two native americans were the Lenapes and the Paleo-Indians.The Paleo-Indians came first to New Jersey.Then the Lenapes came next. Lenapes were friends with the English.

Attractions! The Delaware river is a major waterway. The battle of Trenton was on December 26,1776.the miss America Pageant was held in Atlantic City for Many years. Holland tunnel opened on November 12, 1927. It goes under the Hudson River and connects New Jersey with Manhattan.

AHHH IT’S HISTORY Gidvannida Verrazano discovered New Jersey in 1524………….I wonder how long that was.Do you know? Buuut the west side of New Jersey was settled by a religious group called the Quakers. They were treated badly in England for what they belived in.
