Homeostasis Feedback Loops

Homeostasis The ability of the body (or cell) to maintain internal conditions (equilibrium) Uses feedback controls (positive and negative)

Negative Feedback Controlled by hormones and nervous system If a level increases beyond a normal range, the body will send commands to lower it. If a level decreases beyond a normal range, the body will send commands to raise it.
