The Amsterdam Bid Why did we offer for WCIT 2010? Many leading high tech (using) companies in NL - to focus policy agenda’s towards 2010 to host a global ICT summit on the highest level 2010 is the focus-year of i2010 (EU) to promote the concept of ICT being the Innovation Axis

The Amsterdam ambition WCIT 2010: World class event with global impact on views of the IT industry Two Tier approach • ‘Davos like’ gathering and level (1st Tier) • 2,000 delegates on higher management level, not only IT-industry (2nd Tier) Attract high quality partners (both private and public) to put the event on a sound financial footing (budget € 8 million) Close cooperation with network partners and other events for increased impact
