61 Tell your partner My favorite shop is Home Plus. Home Plus is a big box retailer. It is located at the Daegu Stadium. It’s a ten-minute walk from Daegongwon subway station. I like shopping at Home Plus because it is a little cheaper than Emart. Home plus is cheaper than Emart but the atmosphere at Emart is better.

60 Cultural Differences If you buy a $100 coat in America, you have to pay the regular price + sales tax (부가세). American prices do not include taxes. America has a few really big stores. Korea has many smaller stores. Korea has many convenience stores but America only has one per neighborhood. In America, stores do not have many employees. In Korea, there are many employees to help you shop. America does not have many traditional markets, but Korea does.
