‘ The Power of 10 using the Place Value System Hundred Thousands (200,000) 2 x 100,000 Ten Thousands (20,000) 2 x 10,000 Thousands (2,000) 2 x 1,000 Hundreds (200) 2 x 100 Tens (20) 2 x 10 Ones (2) 2 x 1 As each number moves to the right, the value increases times 10.
