Ephesians 5:18-21 18 And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but BE FILLED with the SPIRIT, 19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord; 20 always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father; 21 and be subject to one another in the fear of Christ.

Basic Premise of Ephesians 5:20 always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father. (Ephesians 5:20) “a Spirit-filled and faithful Christian will continually give thanks to God for all things in his life.”

“Giving Thanks” – a definition “an intentional act of worshipping God whereby a believer demonstrates continually, positively, and verbally, both privately and publically, that all things in his life come to him from God and are for his own good, to conform him to the image of the Son of God, and are to the praise and glory of God.”
