Walking in sunlight All of my journey Over the mountains Thro' the deep vale Jesus has said I'll never forsake thee Promise divine That never can fail
Hallelujah! I am rejoicing Heavenly sunlight Flooding my soul With glory divine Hallelujah! I am rejoicing Singing His praises Jesus is mine
Never conceal my Savior Shadows around me Shadows above me Never conceal my Savior And Guide He is the Light In Him is no darkness Ever I'm walking Close to His side
Hallelujah! I am rejoicing Heavenly sunlight Flooding my soul With glory divine Hallelujah! I am rejoicing Singing His praises Jesus is mine
Pressing my way to Mansions above, Singing His praises, In the bright sunlight, Ever rejoicing, Pressing my way to Mansions above, Singing His praises, Gladly I'm walking, Walking in sunlight, Sunlight of love.
Hallelujah! I am rejoicing Heavenly sunlight Flooding my soul With glory divine Hallelujah! I am rejoicing Singing His praises Jesus is mine
Revive Us Again
Hallelujah! Thine the glory! We praise Thee O God For the Son of Thy love For Jesus who died And is now gone above Hallelujah! Thine the glory! Hallelujah! Amen! Revive us again
Who has shown us our Savior And scattered our night We praise Thee O God For Thy Spirit of light Who has shown us our Savior And scattered our night Hallelujah! Thine the glory! Hallelujah! Amen! Revive us again
To the Lamb that was slain Who has borne all our sins All glory and praise To the Lamb that was slain Who has borne all our sins And hath cleansed every stain Hallelujah! Thine the glory! Hallelujah! Amen! Revive us again.
Fill each heart with Thy love May each soul be rekindled Revive us again Fill each heart with Thy love May each soul be rekindled With fire from above Hallelujah! Thine the glory! Hallelujah! Amen! Revive us again.

Jesus, Draw Me Ever Nearer Sanctuary Choir
Jesus draw me ever nearer As I labour through the storm Jesus draw me ever nearer As I labour through the storm. You have called me to this passage, and I’ll follow, though I’m worn.
May this journey bring a blessing, May I rise on wings of faith; And at the end of my heart’s testing, With Your likeness let me wake.
Jesus guide me through the tempest; Keep my spirit staid and sure. When the midnight meets the morning, Let me love You even more.
May this journey bring a blessing, May I rise on wings of faith; And at the end of my heart’s testing, With Your likeness let me wake.
Let the treasures of the trial Form within me as I go - And at the end of this long passage, Let me leave them at Your throne.
May this journey bring a blessing, May I rise on wings of faith; And at the end of my heart’s testing, With Your likeness let me wake.
Doxology Praise God, from whom all blessings flow; Praise Him, all creatures here below; Praise Him above, ye heavenly host; Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost Amen
Colossians 1:9–14 (NASB) For this reason also, since the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects,
Colossians 1:9–14 (NASB) bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously 12 giving thanks to the Father,
Colossians 1:9–14 (NASB) who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light. 13 For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit Paul is writing to strengthen the church at Colossae against a heresy that is emerging which depends on human philosophy, power, pride, and performance.
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit In vv. 9–14, Paul prays that we wouldn’t settle to merely exist as Christians but that we would live as Christians – “that we must continue on the course we have begun” in Christ (Moo, 92).
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit The reason Paul prays in verse 9 is so that we would walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, pleasing Him in all respects (v. 10).
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit Christ makes us into His people to walk in His way – to pursue Christ and a life that honors Christ.
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit Where are we tempted to substitute the pursuit of Christ for lesser pursuits?
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit To please the Father in our pursuit of Christ:
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit 1) We must be filled with the knowledge of God's will (9).
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit be filled - filled to completion, to the brim.
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit The verb is in the passive voice because we cannot fill ourselves; the Spirit of God must keep filling us.
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit “What Paul has in mind is not some particular or special direction for one’s life, but a deep and abiding understanding of the revelation of Christ and all that means for the universe and the Colossians” (Moo, 93).
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit Why do we want to be the church, change the Valley, and reach the world all for the glory of King Jesus? Because we want Jesus to have first place in everything (Col 1:18).
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit We must pray as Paul prays in v. 9, that God would so fill our hearts and minds and lives with the knowledge of His will that we would be supersaturated with an unshakable understanding that Jesus gets first place in everything.
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit “Paul’s combination of ‘wisdom’ and ‘understanding’ suggest the ability to discern the truth and to make good decisions based on the truth” (Moo, 94).
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit 2. We must keep growing in godliness (10b).
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit The fruit we seek is conformity with Christ, and we see every good work as an opportunity to gain the fruit of Christlikeness.
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit We can never exhaust what there is to learn about an infinite God and yet, what we learn about Him will always be grounded in and guided by the unchanging gospel which leads us to live for the glory of Christ.
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit 3. We must keep drawing upon God's power (11).
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit The fruit that God wants from our lives requires a power that comes from God.
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit Moo says, all power “is a marker of the highest degree” (97);
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit In Eph 1:19–21, Paul prays we would know, “the surpassing greatness of his power toward us who believe...a power which is in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which he brought about in Christ, when He raised him from the dead. . .”
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit What makes you want to give up?
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit Christ is enough to get you through it.
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit Who makes you want to pull your hair out or scream at the top of your lungs?
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit Christ is enough to keep you sane.
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit If you live for Christ, you will walk into places that require supernatural power and supernatural endurance and patience. Jesus did not die to give you a custom-fit life that suits your personal preferences in every way. If that were the case, where would be the need for God’s power?
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit God will take you to the end of your power so that you must draw upon His resurrection power.
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit In all our good work (10), all His power is available (11), so that we will have all endurance and patience (11) as we give Christ first place in all things (18).
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit 4. We must keep joyfully giving thanks to the Father (12–14).
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit We are qualified for this lifelong pursuit not on the basis of what we have done but because the Father has qualified us to be a part of His people.
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit Thanksgiving reminds us everything we have in Christ is a gift.
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit There is no greater deliverance than deliverance from sin.
Christ is Enough for Our Pursuit The Christ who is enough to give life to His church is enough for the church to pursue. Christ, our King, is enough!
Have Thine Own Way
Thou art the Potter, I am the clay Mold me and make me after Thy will Have Thine own way, Lord Have Thine own way Thou art the Potter, I am the clay Mold me and make me after Thy will While I am waiting yielded and still
Search me and try me, Master, today As in Thy presence humbly I bow Have Thine own way, Lord Have Thine own way Search me and try me, Master, today Whiter than snow, Lord Wash me just now As in Thy presence humbly I bow
Wounded and weary, help me, I pray Power, all power surely is Thine Have Thine own way, Lord Have Thine own way Wounded and weary, help me, I pray Power, all power surely is Thine Touch me and heal me, Savior Divine
Hold o’er my being absolute sway Have Thine own way, Lord Have Thine own way Hold o’er my being absolute sway Fill with Thy Spirit till all shall see Christ only, always, living in me

Jesus Son Of God
This earth You formed Was not Your home You came down from Heaven's throne This earth You formed Was not Your home A love like this The world had never known
A crown of thorns To mock Your name Forgiveness fell Upon Your face A love like this The world had never known
On the altar of our praise Let there be no higher name Jesus Son of God You laid down Your perfect life You are the sacrifice
You took our sin You bore our shame You rose to life You defeated the grave And a love like this The world has never known
You took our sin You bore our shame You rose to life You defeated the grave A love like this The world has never known
Be lifted higher than All You've overcome Your name be louder Than any other song There is no power That can come against Your love The cross was enough
On the altar of our praise Let there be no higher name Jesus Son of God You laid down Your perfect life You are the sacrifice
