“My Life as a Bat” - page 71 Read silently In your Spiral, finish answering questions 1-7 from page 76 in Collections. Creative Writing Assignment (DUE WEDNESDAY) Directions: Pick an animal other than a bat. Your animal should be able to be a house pet. Write as though you have been reincarnated as that animal. In your writing I want you to discuss 2 different things (instead of Atwood’s 4). The first thing you will discuss is—Reincarnation. What did you do to become the animal? Are you in a home or are you a stray/in the wild? Is your life good or bad? Add some of your own details! The second thing you will discuss is—being domesticated. Think about what it would be like to be a human one week and a pet the next. Consider your food and bathroom options. Get creative!
