Conclusion CeBIT 2014 Digital Agenda for Europe address eGovernment, Single Market, Electronic Identification and Trusted Services. EU Commission is on the way to regulate eID along cross border services. End of CY 2013 in Europe 20 States issues eID-Cards. End of CY 2013 round 150 Million eIDs are in the field. This capture 30% of the total population of 500 Million Citizens. The oldest program has started 1999. The youngest program has started 12/2013 (time span of 15 years). Various National Policies are placed on ID / eID eID Service (with or without eHealth service) eSignature Service Travel Service & Biometrics eSignature is not a success story in Europe. 14 of the 20 national eID roll outs in Europe use Security ICs from Infineon.
