What is an angle? An angle is something that has a vertex rays sides and a degrees. An angle is two rays that share the same endpoint witch is called a vertex. The two rays are called sides of the angle.

What is an acute angle? Acute angle is a angle that is between O and 90 degrees.

What is a obtuse angle A obtuse angle is a angle that is bigger than 90 degrees and less than 180 degrees.

What is a right angle? A right angle is pretty much exactly 90 degrees!

What is a straight angle? A straight angle is exactly 180 degrees.

How do you estimate a angle? You estimate a angle by using 45 degrees and 90 degrees and 180 degrees and also 180 degrees. if it is a acute angle it is usually around 45 degrees and a right angle it is exactly 90 degrees. also if it is a obtuse angle it is around 130 degrees and a straight angle 180 degrees.

What's a protractor? A protractor is a tool that measures the degrees of a angle.Thier is two scales on the protractor the inner scale and the outer scale.Thier is also a midpoint and that goes on the vertex of the angle.

Measuring angles. The first step to measuring angles is to figure out if it is obtuse or acute.2nd is to place the center mark of the protractor and put it on the vertex.3thrd line up the zero edge to the base line of the angle and read the degrees. Last thing is the wrong scale that means you used the wrong scale on the protractor so that means if it is a obtuse angle and you are reading the outer scale that is wrong it is the inner scale.

Drawing angles. Step one is to draw a vertex. step two place the midpoint of the protractor on the vertex. Step three is to draw a dot on the 180 degree line on the protractor . Step four is to connect the dots using a straight edge. Step five is repeat step 2. step six is to line up the bottom ray of your angle with the baseline of the protractor. step eight is to connect the new dot to the vertex using a straight edge.

My successes I enjoyed measuring angles a nd drawing angles because I thought it was easy and fun.

My challenges What I thought were my challenges were estimating angles because I found it hard. I could do more practice by going on the wiki to practice estimating angles

That’s my PowerPoint!
