Outstanding Wise Learner April 22, 2013 2nd Grade O.W.L Outstanding Wise Learning Classroom News O.W.L. of the week Outstanding Wise Learner Lily Kovacs Memory Verse [Jesus said,] “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.” Mark 16:15 A $5 donation for the Ed Fair raffle basket would be greatly appreciated. Follow our class on Twitter@ils2ndgrade & Schoolrack.com Math: We will begin Unit 12 on Fractions. There will be three math tests going home, please just sign the top paper and return it to school. Language Arts: We will focus on sentence structure, biographies and poetry. Spelling: This week we will have our regular spelling assignments. You can find our weekly spelling assignments on Schoolrack.com Science: We are continuing to work on our Nutrition Unit. Religion: We are continuing to work on Unit 9 Spread the Good News. 4/22 7pm Zumba 4/24 7pm PTL meeting 4/26 12:45 dismissal 4/26 6:30-8pm Ed Fair this is a mandatory event 4/27 10am-1pm Open House invite your friends and let them know about our wonderful school. Meet and Greet nights are next week May 10th is the PTL Murder Mystery Evening call the office to make your reservations. Camp SAILS brochures are out, be sure to get your registrations in.
