Patriot vs Minute-Man models; the design differences and choices. The Patriot model is designed for a “stock” AR out-of-the-box carbine (@ 16.1”) barrel length configuration of .223 caliber (5.56) rifle. Constructed of pressed hardwood backboard, soft wood upper cradle and lower barrel receiver block. Weighs less than 1-1/2 lbs for shipping. Measures L21” X W5” and less than 4” height. The Minute-Man model is designed for AR carbine rifles having custom attachment capabilities such as “key-mod” and/or Picatinny rail systems. Provides offsets of 1”, 1.5” and 2” for clearance of custom components such as spotlights, laser dot pointer systems, and permits them to remain attached while stored with the “Grab- N-Go!”. (Consult your supplier for specifying desired offset). Produced with a shop-made reinforced soft wood backboard, soft wood upper cradle and lower barrel receiver block. Can be produced on a customized basis to fit virtually any sized barrel length rifle (or pistol) and optional caliber (ie: .308 / 7.62; 9mm; or 22 caliber). Weighs under 3-1/2 lbs for shipping. (Length and Width dimensions are subject to customer's customization requests). Patriot and Minute-Man models: Both Patriot and Minute-Man models are available in Right-Hand or Left-Hand configurations upon special order requests. Consult your supplier. The “Grab-N-Go!” is designed for vertical installation, indoors use only, and its design provides for a positive lean of the rifle into the upper cradle with “Secure-Fit”™ retention technology. (“Freedom-Action” available upon custom order request.) Both models are entirely wrapped with a commercial grade polyester felt, produced from 100% recycled water bottles, providing protection and quiet functionality. Units are produced with pre-drilled mounting holes and may be fastened with screws, wall anchors, sheet rock anchors, toggle bolts or other suitable fasteners of your choice.
